But several studies showing that L-Lysine addition can decrease herpes outbreaks and decrease healing time. However, there is not enough evidence that L-Lysine supplementation in Viralys is acting against the herpes virus.

Viralys with L-lysine for cats: review.   A cat organism needs it, but cannot produce it, a cat must receive it from a food diet, that is why it would be good as a supplement for your cat. Lysine supplement is usually safe but requires certain precautions.  Viralys for use in cats only.

As usual in special cat food, you can find all the useful nutrients. But if you feed your cat another food, home-made you should choose the right products.  Very good sources of lysine are high-protein foods such as meat (notably red meat, lamb, pork, and poultry), eggs, soy, beans and peas, cheese (especially Parmesan), and definite fish (such as tuna, cod, and sardines). A nutrition is considered to have sufficient L-lysine if it has at least 45 mg of lysine per gram of protein.

 Cautions:

  • In pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven.
  • If you find a hidden allergy, stop to give the Viralys.
  • If cat’s condition deteriorates or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.

Directions for Viralys Use:

Give 1 scoop (500 mg) twice daily or as directed by your veterinarian.

You should always keep in mind that the dose of the Viralys should not be more than your veterinarian advised!  Viralys with L-lysine for cats: review.
